This recipe comes from Pilsbury’s Halloween Food, Fun, and Crafts book published in 2010! It is meant to be baked on a pizza pan then decorated like a jack-o-lantern, but I think it can be decorated for any season and eaten any time of the year. It is that yummy!

The brownie recipe is as follows….

3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 eggs
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

-Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 12-inch round pizza pan.
-Beat melted butter, sugar, and vanilla with spoon in a large bowl. Beat in eggs. Stir in dry ingredients; beat with spoon until well blended. Spread in pan.
-Bake 20-22 minutes or until top springs back when touched lightly in center. Cool completely. Decorate with frosting and other desired garnishings…..or in my family’s case, devour once cool.

This recipe makes 12-16 servings. I have double the recipe and baked it in a 9×13-inch baking dish and had just as delicious results. Get creative and enjoy!
