I originally planned this post to be focused on a boy or girls first birthday with a winter wonderland theme. However, last night I found out my friend welcomed her first baby into the world! Babies are on my brain so my birthday party has turned into baby shower.
Any of the ideas I have put together could work for both occasions. In honor of her “snow” baby, cozy up and be inspired!
Hostess with the Mostess (left) actually made this winter inspired baby shower in a two-part series. One and Two both feature a gender neutral theme with woodland animals and bundling up your bundle of joy. You can even purchase the decorations (banner, cupcake flags, etc.) from their Etsy shop. Rustic Baby Chic’s white and silver baby shower is perfect for a winter-filled baby shower. It’s so glam!
I won’t lie, I am typically not the biggest fan of diaper cakes. I’d rather just get a box of diapers that I don’t have to unwrap ever.single.diaper. BUT this snowman diaper cake is adorable! Susie Stamp A Lot has put together a wonderful tutorial to create a 3-tier cake (perfect size for a snowman).
Sortra found these adorable snowflake sugar cookies and mini white Christmas trees to decorate the tables. They create a blank slate to decorate for a gender neutral or gender specific baby shower. The white Christmas trees would be perfect to get during the after-Christmas sales. (hint, hint to myself!)
Give the mason jars a break and fill clear baby bottles with hot cocoa mix and all the trimmings!
