I officially opened “shop” last August. Though I had visions of planning weddings right away, I knew the reality of it was more like I had to wait a few months before landing one. Basically catch the 2016 wedding season. Well by some miracle I only needed to wait TWO months. Catherine and her fiance found me.
They are adorable! She was a DIY bride and by the time she found me had nearly everything done, with the exception of a few minor decor details. I was needed purely for “day of” coordination. The wedding took place at Pilot View Farm in Pinnacle, NC on November 7th, 2015.
There was a rustic, barn vibe with touches of sparkle. The couple wanted to keep it intimate with only the closest family and friends in attendance. Long tables we set up for guests to eat family-style, hay bales transformed into couches adorned with quilts lovingly made by the grooms grandmother.
Due to rain the couple had to use their “plan B” for the ceremony and have everything inside. That did not dampen the joy and love they shared that day! It was a pleasure serving them and working with their vendors. I wish them many years of joy and happiness!
