Arboretum Botanical Garden

The Arboretum is a unique, 7-acre park with free admission, in the heart of New Hanover County where homeowners can see the variety of plants that grow in our coastal area as well as emerging trends in plant material.

The Arboretum provides a beautiful environment and majestic setting that you and your guests will remember forever. I had the pleasure of touring this lovely garden while on vacation last week. Besides seven acres of spectacular gardens, the Arboretum offers a collection of benefits most other venues can’t match, including:

Convenient location with ample parking
Fully equipped indoor kitchen, auditorium and restroom
Numerous photo ops, including sculptures, Japanese Tea House, Children’s Garden and Rose Garden
Water features
Performance space for musicians
Proximity to superb restaurants, local attractions, and hotels for out-of-town guests

The latest water feature is my absolute favorite thing! I have a slight obsession with pineapples. I  need a smaller version for my personal garden.

This garden is completely non-profit, their programs are completely funded by educational programs and special events like weddings. Compared to other gardens I have toured, the pricing structure for special events is perfect for anyone’s budget.

Throughout the garden you will find whimsical artwork. Guests of all ages will enjoy everything that this garden has to offer.

To schedule a personal tour of the grounds and facilities, contact Angie Pearsall at 910-798-7660 or apearsall@nhcgov.com. You’ll quickly see why the Arboretum is fast becoming the area’s first choice for making memories!
